About Us
Dedicated Instructors
Center for Excellence first started in San Antonio Texas in 2011 as a school to help those interested in the Healthcare field make their first step as a Nursing Assistant and that dedication continues today. Now Center for Excellence is expanding all the way to H-town. While we are new to Houston, we are veterans in training students to become successful Certified Nursing Assistants. We plan to provide the same quality learning environment for students just like our San Antonio location. Training tuition - $686
Books - $40
Scrub set - $42
Total Course Cost - $768
State Examination - $125 (Separate from course tuition)
Note: Students must pay $250 as their first payment a week before class starts. The remaining tuition can be paid as the student progresses through the course. Tuition must be paid completely before the course completes. If the student has not completed their tuition balance they will not receive a completion of certificate or be registered for state testing.
(We try to provide a flexible schedule for our students)
Length of Program is six weeks
Class days include Monday through Sunday with in person classes taking place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
9:00 am - 5:30pm
Night class hours: (Minimum of 2 students required for a night course)
5:30pm - 8:30pm
Clinical Externship Schedule
7:00am - 4:00pm
**This is a hybrid course. The first five days of the class will be online using Zoom, the remaining days of the class will be in person. Be advised, students must have basic computer skills for this course.**
- Any grievances a student may have with the school that has not been addressed properly by the school can be reported to TWC at http://csc.twc.state.tx.us
- Cancellation Policy - Please refer to Enrollment Application
- Course requires 100 clocked hours, students that miss more than three days without makeup days will be suspended from the course and will be required to join the next upcoming course for completion.
- Every student will be invited to tour the school/facility and inspect equipment
- Employment as an CNA requires a CNA license

Clinical Externship
Clinicals will start toward the last five days of the course and will consist of hands on training with patients of a Long Term Care facility. Hands on training will be supervised by an instructor.

**Students can not be enrolled in the course if the student has a criminal record or is unemployable in the Healthcare Field due to a history of abuse, misappropriation of patient property, or gross negligence.**
